Q - How can I pay for your repair service?

A - We prefer to use PayPal. We also accept money orders, bank checks and personal checks. We do not accept credit card payments directly. To quickly learn more about PayPal, click on their logo at the bottom of this page.

Q - What is your guarantee on Zune repairs?

A - All repairs are guaranteed for 30 days from the day you get it back from us. If the original repair fails, send us an email with a description of your trouble. We will quickly reply with an RMA# and ask you to send it back to us. Once received, we will diagnose your Zune and contact you soon after. It will be repaired and returned for free if the original malfunction failed. If it is not the same failure or malfunction, we instead will be contacting you with a repair quote.

Q - What is your return policy?

A - We do not offer refunds or returns on completed Zune services. Repairs are guaranteed to work for 30 days from the day you get it back.

Q - Will my music, videos and pictures be saved while you are working o my Zune?

A - We use every precaution to preserve your data, but you run the risk of loosing all of it during any internal Zune repair. Try to sync or backup your Zune before sending it in. We have a very high success-rate when it comes to saving your data, but we simply cannot guarantee it. Data loss usually occurs with hard drive failures. Most other issues can been repaired while keeping your music and data safe, but there is no guarantee.

Q - How long will it take to get my Zune repaired?

A - We usually have your Zune diagnosed or repaired within 3 business days after receiving it. We return all Zunes via USPS Priority Mail which is 2 or 3 days to most US locations. So as you can see, it does not take long to have your Zune repaired.

Q - What brand of parts & accessories do you use?

A - We only use OEM parts and accessories, the same parts Microsoft uses, no aftermarket parts here. Some of the parts are brand new and some of the parts are re-purposed, which are perfectly good working parts from used Zunes. Either way all parts replacement services come with a 30-day guarantee.

Q - How can I check my orders status?

A - Just send us an email, but you probably will not need to. We stay in touch with you via email throughout the process.

Q - Do you offer repair services for the Zune 120 model?

A - We used to, but not any longer. Sorry.

Q - How can I contact you if I have an immediate question?

A - Just give us a call at (207) 809-5180 we are usually here from 9am to 5pm during the week.

Q - How long can I keep my Zune there?

A - Once we provide a repair quote: You have 30 days to respond to our emails or pay for the repair service quoted. If contact or payment is not received inside 30 days, a 2nd reminder email will be sent. After 45 days If contact or payment is not received We will do our best to try and contact you at the telephone number given during checkout. After 60 days, if your payment is not received the Zune will become property of ABC Zune Repair and most likely get disassembled and used for spare parts.

Q - What if I need to cancel my order?

No problem, we will return your Zune to you in the same condition you sent it. If you sent us a 30GB Zune, you will be charged a $10 fee for return shipping and handling. If you sent us a 80GB or 120GB Zune, you will be charged the $39 diagnostic fee, which includes free return shipping.

Q – What if I think the cost to repair is too expensive or cost prohibitive?

A - That is possible; in some instances the cost of repairs could be more expensive than you originally planned. For example, your Zune could have two broken parts instead of just one, which would increase the overall repair price. Here are your options if that happens:

1. Have my Zune repaired anyway.

2. ABC Zune Repair could make you an offer for your broken Zune. We could buy it from you and use it for spare parts.

3. We can return your Zune to you in the same condition you sent it. 30GB and Flash Zunes will be charged $10 for the diagnosis, return shipping and handling. 80GB Zunes will be charged $29 for the diagnosis, return shipping and handling.
